Lake Arrowhead Water – Risen to Full

Keep the Lake Levels Up

The Lake Arrowhead water level has now risen to full after being 21 feet 3 inches low in October of 2004. The water issues in Lake Arrowhead have resolved due to heavy rain and the help of the Arrowhead Lake Association who transferred water by gravity from Grass Valley Lake to Lake Arrowhead.

When full, the elevation of Lake Arrowhead is 5106.7 and many Lake Arrowhead real estate owners are now coming to both recognize and appreciate this full Lake’s potential. It is hoped that having a full lake once again will provide the opportunity to manage the available water resources in Lake Arrowhead more intelligently so that the water level of this lake can be maintained.

This water level can be maintained and the water can also continue to be used to supply Lake Arrowhead property in Arrowhead Woods but there must also be a supplemental water source available from the Crestline Water Agency to supply water to Lake Arrowhead if Arrowhead Woods utilizes more than 2000 acres.

It is anticipated that water wells will be developed and that as much water as possible will be recycled to irrigate Lake Arrowhead’s golf course as well as recycled water being used to replace the water used from the lake.
With all of these developments you can be certain that the water levels in Lake Arrowhead will never again fall below 5100.
