After months of inactivity due to tree removal operations, the Trails
Committee along with the Arrowhead
Lake Association is working hard to make the lake trails of Arrowhead
functional and enjoyable again. There are crews working around the lake cleaning the slash and debris from tree cutting, trimming trees and bushes around the lake and removing ground cover. The installation of the stairs at Access 47 of the lake is nearing completion and rebuilding of sections of the lake trails that are now under water is ongoing. Other lake trails are now also being returned to their original paths around the lake. Upcoming projects for the Lake Arrowhead trails include the installation of two new de-silting basins in North Bay along with the installation of two new sets of access stairs one to be placed on the North shore of the lake and the other on the South shore of the lake. The cleaning of the de-silting basins will also be carried out prior to the winter months.
