The Bluff Mesa trail is a four mile easy hike suitable for the entire family that begins at the Champion Lodgepole Pine and ends at Bluff Mesa Camp. The Champion Lodgepole Pine trail is another easy trail that begins at the end of the forest service road and ends three miles later at the Champion Lodgepole Pine. The National Children’s Forest interpretive trail is a trail suitable for all the family. It is also paved, providing handicapped and stroller access. This trail is only three quarters of a mile long but includes a picnic area and mountain views. There are many easy trails in Lake Arrowhead, including Heaps Peak Arboretum Trail 3W05, Gray’s Peak Trail, Indian Rock Trail 3W15, Seeley Creek Trail 4W07, Trail of the Phoenix 2W09, and the 39 mile Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail PC2000. Lake Arrowhead also provides more difficult trails for hiking enthusiasts including Lake Arrowhead’s Camp Creek National Recreational Trail. This very steep trail is a 3.6 mile hike that begins east of Snow Valley Ski Resort and ends at Bear Creek. The Castle Rock Trail is a hike that is rich in scenery, situated on Lake Arrowhead real estate that takes in the mountain views. Other difficult trails include Cougar Crest Trail, Fisherman’s Camp Trail 2W07, Glory Ridge Trail, Hot Springs Trail 3W02, Little Green Valley Trail 2W10, Sugarloaf National Recreational Trail, and for experts in hiking, there is the Siberia Creek Trail.
