Jensen’s Market in Lake Arrowhead was founded by Einer and Marie Jensen in 1940 and the first of the Jensen’s stores was located in the building that the Coldwell Banker Lake Arrowhead real estate offices currently occupy. The Jensen’s market store later moved to its current location in Blue Jay in 1967.

Jensen’s market owner Gene Fulton began working for Mr. Jensen in 1957 and recalls how customers in the Jensen’s market were much more than just customers, they were friends.

Jensen’s in Lake Arrowhead is famous for its deli which offers a full selection of sandwiches and side dishes of which their chili is a proven favorite.

During the devastating fires of 2003 Jensen’s market remained open donating food and products to the remaining people of Lake Arrowhead along with fire fighters and police officers and those locals who had refused to leave their homes. Jensen’s proved that in times of need they would always be there to help out their community of friends.

Jensen’s market in Lake Arrowhead still values the importance of getting to know customers and making friends with the Lake Arrowhead locals.
